From his earliest childhood, Robin Udry was immersed in the world of weapons, through shooting, hunting and collecting. His father Augustin, an outstanding hunter and shooter, introduced him very early on to this field reserved for connoisseurs. An extensive library in which Dominique Venner, Swen Hassel and Ernest Hemingway crossed paths allowed the teenager to quench his thirst for knowledge. Thanks to a developed visual memory, no detail will escape his perspicacity.
Then, from collection to arms exchange, the one who will become an infantry officer in 1993 will acquire a knowledge that will surprise more than one seasoned dealer or collector.
After a career in the Army and the Police, Robin Udry naturally moved towards another facet of the arms profession and opened the company Armis Auctions in 2017, making his passion his profession.
